THE GOAL OF KINDNESS (formerly Jerseys For Africa)

is a project started in Vernon, BC Canada by

soccer enthusiast Shelley Zupp.

In May 2008, in support of the Wellspring Foundation,

friends Shelley and Deb Poggemoeller collected 300

soccer jerseys, cleats, soccer balls, shorts and socks to

include in a 40-foot container with building supplies and

other items destined for Rwanda!

Since then Shelley and her family have been collecting,

sorting and sending 'soccer kits' to developing countries

worldwide.  To date more than 7800 jerseys, hundreds of soccer balls, shorts and cleats generously donated by the Vernon Soccer Community through the Vernon Toyota Indoor Sports Centre, have been sent to:

THE GOAL OF KINDNESS JOURNEY in 2022 to 8 countries, combined my three passions;

Kids, Soccer and Travel.  For 6 months I drove a total of 18,500 km to personally deliver 1,800 soccer jerseys, 163 soccer balls, pumps, shorts, cleats and socks to 41 different communities!!
